my game keeps on freezing up on rock paper scissors. the closest ive gotten is 1 to 2. i really wanna finish the game section, it really seems like a fun game.
I'm sorry, but everytime i try to run the Adventure of xxxx it freezes after the first sentence. Not exactly freeze, the effects still move but it doesn't load the rest of the passage. I'm unsure if it's a bug or maybe i did something wrong upon installing the game.
I noticed that my Name is Rüdiger but in the game Hangman it doesn't recognize my ü so i pressed every letter but it doesn't let me loose or win just cause of that one letter... but its a great game :>
Some random ranting.The first few minutes into the game and i made a bad choice, never answer "red" as favriote colour and play at night. This is a way to give nightmares. Anyways, really great game.
Pretty rad! The concept is fun, and the ending is a laugh. My only real criticism is as a videogame boomer I found the vocabulary in the actual adventure part to be limited and confusing at times. Overall though I am excited to see a full product though, but I hope the devs use restraint because the length is actually pretty good as is. Just flesh out the adventure and give it a conclusion, and you have a short solid game.
I found the genius game! I deleted the game file, deleted the folder in appData and yet it had save! Great !! I kept playing even after I deleted these folders, man, I gave permission never to take this game off my pc again;-; this is sad, I enjoyed the conversation with my little friend ... give me a chance to say goodbye !!!
We would love to shoot for Mac support, but unfortunately due to some of the game's features, this provided a lot of technical challenges we weren't expecting. This is still something we're strongly pushing towards for the full game, so we'll be sure to keep everyone updated.

2. the screen seems to be cut off for me, might be my not normal aspect ratio of 21:9 but the command line towards the center gets cut off, and after I launch buddy sim I hear things being printed but the screen remains blank, thinking its above my line of sight. Couldn't get any farther than that because I'm guessing there's some options I need to choose from but I can see what they are to choose.
Excited to see if these (mainly the 2nd one) can be fixed, because this seems like a really cool and interesting game that you don't see a ton of anymore.
Can confirm that the cut off of the text seems to be due to aspect ratio. When I ran it on a more normal 16:9 screen it worked great. Also can confirm it works great in WINE as I was able to get through the entire game. Overall great experience.

Just decided to experience this with a friend, and I must say, that we really enjoyed the demo. It kept us on our toes for the entire demo, and I believe for this to be a very promising game. Keep up the good work.

After looking into it, we have just realized it's most likely because the main terminal screen uses the file location where the game is extracted. This may cause an anti-virus program to not trust Buddy Simulator 1984 since the game is reading a file location. The game itself is a bit experimental and does some things that might break a few rules purely for narrative reasons. We promise this project is nothing more than a game, but we can understand why anti-virus software might get nervous. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

Loving it so far! I found out that you can trick your buddy by entering a negative number when being asked for your birthday. :D
