It's time for the biggest announcement yet for Buddy Simulator 1984. 

Lets jump right into things with our brand new official gameplay trailer that the team put together. This trailer has been in the works for a while as we debated on a release date, which we eventually did, but we'll get to that! We wanted to change things up a bit from the first trailer by showing off more of the game without spoiling too much.  By this point, we decided we wanted to fall into a new type of game genre we like to call "Wholesome Horror" and we think Buddy Sim more than lives up to that title. Don't take our word for it, see for yourself down below in the brand new trailer. 

Release Date

As many of you know, Buddy Simulator 1984 was slated for release this summer. With the pandemic putting everything into a spiral, it had put a slow on our work of the game. We have big ideas planned and we would hate to have to rush them through in order to meet a deadline of 5 more weeks. We're really sorry for taking so long to reveal a release date  and we're sorry to those of you who were really excited to get your hands on this wholesome horror game this Summer. We would rather put out something we love and are happy with rather than a rushed pixel mess. 

With that being said, we are happy to announce an official release date for Buddy Simulator 1984. If you haven't seen the trailer yet, then you're in for a surprise...it's still coming this year! December 10th to be exact. By having a few extra months to plan out the perfect reunion with you and your Buddy, we are confident we can deliver the game you are all hoping for, and more. Now lets look at some new faces.

New Faces (Top to bottom)

•  Lloyd is a sad blob of a man. He fell into the sewers years ago and everyone seemed to have forgotten about him. He just wants a friend
•  Dundee is the town fisherman who always puts on a friendly face. It hangs out by the pond hoping one day that its hand will return after it was lost years ago. It might need a helping hand!
• Next we have Bean! Bean is a small rabbit-like creature who has a temper shorter than his stubby little toes. He is half the height of you, but he sure is one of the best dad's you'll know!
• Last but certainly not least is our town chef, Cauldron. Cauldron is a large creature with a chef’s hat on its head and a cauldron as its belly. No one knows how it got it's name though.

You'll be seeing these friendly faces and many more in the full version of Buddy Simulator 1984 coming this December! Let us know your favorite so far!

The Team

Other than the global pandemic sweeping it's way through the world, Josh, Vince, DeMarco, and Brandon are all doing great and staying healthy. Vince got a brand new computer so he can finally play Fall guys which is such a great game. Josh and Brandon are still getting along in their new apartment but also playing Fall Guys. DeMarco, who originally got them into Fall Guys, is still playing Fall Guys. It's a grand old time. Thank you all so much for sticking with us to support us along the way.
