Unfortunate News

Hey guys! We're working hard to get Buddy Sim up and running for the December 10th release date! However, we have some unfortunate news to share, so bear with us! We noticed that we were cutting content from the game in order to make the deadline, and we decided that, instead of doing so, we'd like to give ourselves one final extension to make this game the best it can be before its release. Being a small Indie studio of four college students, we're still getting a handle on scope and the process of game development as a whole, so we appreciate your patience and sticking with us since we've embarked on this crazy journey exactly a year ago! We hope pushing back the deadline one final time will make this the game something we're truly proud of. Coincidentally, Cyberpunk announcing that they were delaying their release date to December 10th is what sparked the discussion between us team members, so maybe that game coming out on that day is some sort of divine intervention telling us that we were just a little too ambitious. 

Better News/New Release Date

After a bit of internal discussion, we think, and we hope, and we pray, that the final release date for Buddy Simulator 1984 is January 14th! We think that's the perfect amount of time for us to complete everything and gives us a bit of wiggle room to playtest and add features we previously had to cut.
